Welcome to the International Network for Animal Assisted Coaching.

This online network has been created as a professional and supportive space for coaches, coaching psychologists, counsellors, educators, trainers, researchers and allied practitioners who are interested in animal assisted coaching and related areas of practice.

Our aim is to encourage ethical, compassionate and evidence-informed practice, with particular attention to the wellbeing, safety and dignity of clients, practitioners and animals. We hope this group will become a place to share ideas, research, resources, events, questions, reflections and examples of good practice. We have over 60 founding members.

Members are encouraged to contribute constructively, respect different levels of experience, and remain mindful that animal assisted coaching requires careful attention to professional competence, client safety, animal welfare, boundaries, risk awareness and appropriate supervision.

We look forward to developing an international community of practice that supports learning, collaboration and responsible development in this growing field.

The International Network for Animal Assisted Coaching was founded on the 19th July 2026 by two Chartered Psychologists, Dr Siobhain O’Riordan PhD and Prof Stephen Palmer PhD.

A warm welcome to all members.
